When something is going to be slept against, chewed on and dragged across the floor for years, what it is made of matters. That is why every MILA piece uses only OEKO-TEX certified organic cotton, washed European linen and untreated beech or pine.
Natural fibres breathe, soften beautifully with each wash, and carry no flame-retardant chemicals or synthetic coatings. Untreated wood keeps its quiet grain and can be wiped clean with nothing more than a damp cloth.
It costs a little more and takes a little longer. We think a child’s first years are worth exactly that.
